I am in the construction business. I have an employer that in my contract when hired on states Commission will be paid after the Certificates of Compliance are received. I have done this now he says they are unable to pay. This is 2 months after I gave them the Certificates. They hand me a payment schedule that drags out the payment till Jan 07. On the second set of town homes they were to pay 3 days after closing. The town homes are all occupied and yet I have not received my payment. I turned this into the Texas Workforce Commission tax and Labor Law department and they say I will have to wait at least 45 days. I am in need of my money now so that I do not loose my house or auto. I live check to check and I am one payment behind on my auto already and two payments behind on my house. Is there any way to speed up the process??
