I need some advice on how to deal with the following situation. Any help is appreciated.

I work for a large corporation that manufactures and sells a variety of consumer products to large retail customers. As the Chief Financial Officer to one of the company's divisions, I was summoned to the Division President's office where I was asked to meet with the V.P. Sales and "figure out a way to make the 3rd quarter sales numbers jump to meet the plan." The President also states that year end bonuses are riding on my ability to make this happen. At the end of this meeting in the President's office, he stands up and places himself between me and the door. (He is a large person, 6'5" tall and weighs 280lbs.) Looking me straight in the eyes and pointing his finger at me, he makes the following statement: "If you value your career and your health, I fully expect the sales numbers to be on target….this goes for the V.P. of Sales too!"

My questions are:

a. What legal options do I have after this meeting?
b. What could I be charged with if I did what the President asked me to do?
c. What might a Grand Jury charge the President with?
d. What could the V.P. of Sales do?
