The legal age is 18, as it is in the other states.

Some get away with it at age 17, if the parents don't cause a ruckus.
 
Agree that legal age is 18.
If the parents consent to it, you can certainly move out at 17. However, "generally" in Mo. due to a "quirk" in the law (even without parents' consent) the police will not bring you back home if you are in a safe place at age 17. That doesn't mean they might not though or your parents might come & get you & "drag you" back home.

When you are 18, then you can move out & live where you wish.
 
There is no state in the US where the legal age for a minor to move out without permission is younger than 18. There are a couple of states, and yes, Missouri is one of them, where an anomaly in the way the law is written means that sometimes law enforcement is reluctant to force home a 17 year old who is in a safe place. That does not mean they will not; nor does it mean that the parents cannot come get their minor child and drag him back home regardless. If you want to be absolutely certain that you cannot be forced back where you came from, wait till 18.
