My 13yo daughter signed affidavit that she wanted to come and live with me 2 months ago. She will be 14yo on Sept. 3. In the state of Ga. a child can choose which parent he/she wants to live with at the age of 14. My attorney cannot get the judge to respond. We have had a temporary physical custody order for more than 2 years now with no final hearing scheduled and no final order. Judge Joe Bishop, Georgia, has yet to respond at all to our request for a hearing and/or temporary custody change until a hearing. How long can he keep ignoring us and is there anything I can do?
