My ex-girlfriend who was 17 at the time sent a mirror picture standing straight in a thong facing away(so seeing backside) and let me take a picture laying down on her stomach in underwear. Nothing sexual is going on in either one. And also would just standing straight and naked be illegal. I know i would never show them but what kind of trouble could I get in if I did. Thank you.

What is your age?
If you're an adult, this could spell big trouble for you.

The pictures could, indeed, be considered explotative; if not pornographic.

You could be labelled a child molester or a sexual deviate.

You must feel ambivalent about the pictures, otherwise why pose the question?

Legal or not, if it were me, I'd have never taken these kinds of pictures.

If it were your 17 year old daughter, how would you feel?

If it were me, I'd destroy these pictures immediately.

I'd also never take these kinds of pictures again.

Hi,
This sounds like playing with a pin on a grenade. Like Arny Judge said so well. You know it's risky. Why else would you hove brought it up. Even if you can be proven innocent in court, most of the dmage to your life and reputation happens during the court process. Add the possiblilty of time served and remaining a registered sex offender then decide if some racy pictures of your girlfriend are worth it.

The question of if is actually child porn can vary depending where your located. It can be different on both age and exposure.

Hope that helps a bit

I like the analogy of playing with the pin on a grenade.

If you were facing a charge and I was your attorney I would tell you that I could beat the charge if she is 17 and in a thong and such. It isn't technically child porn according to the federal statutes. (I don't know about your state).

HOWEVER, since you are not YET facing a charge I would refer back to the idea of playing with the pin on a grenade. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? Delete the picture and never mention it again.

That would be the smart thing to do, now the question is will you, or will you be explaining this to your attorney and hoping that he can get you off like I said?
