I need to ask for a legal advice regarding my sister's divorce and custody for her daughter according to pakistani law.She went to uk 4 years back with her husband and daughter on HSMP visas.They visited pakistan 5 months back to attend a family marriage ceremony.Her husband went back to uk and left her in pakistan for few more days to stay here.Meanwhile her inlaws stole her daughter and her passports and her husband sent her divorce.She couldnt go back to uk and now facing threats from her ex husband for taking her daughter.Her daughter is 5 years old.Can he get the custody of her daughter?According to pakistani law,at what age,father can file a case for daughter's custody?Is the mother bound to take maintainence for custody period?She is earning a handsum amount from investment and doesnt want to take maintainence for her daughter from her ex husband.

A few people know UK law on this forum, but I doubt anyone knows Pakistan law.

She would be best served to hire a Pakistani attorney, with some of that handsome return on her investments.
