My current job description does not reflect my actual job tasks. I've attempted to work with our HR department with no response. Is there legal action that can be taken?

No, for one a job description isn't required by law - federal or state.

incorrect, in regards to disability accomodation, job descriptions must be kept current by the employer please note ada and state disbility laws
