I'm a 1st-time poster and am very glad to find this resource!
I joined a band (based in Horry County, SC) back in 2006.
The leader asked that I contribute $ toward the purchase of audio equipment that we were all using when we performed in public, so I ended up adding $500.00 from my own pocket. I left the band and moved out-of-state; he won't reimburse me (even though he acknowledges the debt).
I'm tired of waiting for this slug to get it together; what are my options, other than waiting for his conscience to finally kick in? Do I have legal recourse in Horry County and, if so, how do I use it to get my $500.00 back?
