i live in texas. i suffer from necrolepsy ( i fall asleep). i do take medication, however the medication only helps in keeping me alert but does not ensure that i will be awake all day. my employer knows about my condition. my direct mgr send me home cuz i had snoozed off and insisted that i get a ltr from dr explaining my condition and a stmt from him about the effect of meds (how long do they take to kick in and how long effect last). dr told her that he would not disclose patient/client info w/o signed authorization to release info. she is keeping eye on me. i assured her that it was gonna happen again cuz of illness. today she suspended me from work for 3 days without pay. can i be fired due to my illness. if not can i sue. who do i contact. someone point me in the right direction
