I filed to pay support for my daughter in juvenile court as well as set my visitation. The court attorney completely botched figuring support and I'm trying to make sense of how calculation works and get it right....How many "other children in the home" do you get credit for? I have 2 boys 14 and 18 that live with me 50% of the time...the 18 year old should have qualified until he graduated high school...correct? After he graduated, I should still get credit for my 14 year old...I guess my question is "is there a difference in the credit amount a father gets with two "other children in his home and just one?" After my oldest graduated, they calculated my support to be the same amount as it was prior to him graduating. Thanks for reading and would sure appreciate any help figuring this out.
