How to file outside of side of state?

I was married in Minnesota but now I am separated from my wife while I live in Hawaii. I'd like to file for divorce. Can I file while I reside in Hawaii?

I don't know the specific law in Hawaii but typically if you wanted to file in the state, you have to be a "domiciliary" and not just residing there. The requirement might a time requirement or other - your domicile is your established permanent residence. Otherwise you would typically have an option of filing in the county where your wife lives or the county where you and your wife once lived.
