Click to expand... You betcha a conviction will show up on a background check. Convictions aren't like bad debts, they don't age off. But, being convicted doesn't automatically bar you from getting a job. Read the application form, especially the part about "have you ever been convicted of any crime". Tell the truth, some employers will allow you to explain. But, a conviction anywhere in the 50 United States and its territories and possessions will follow you for the rest of your life.
