Recently, one of my co-workers went to the son of the president, accusing the president and I of having an affair. She then accused two other women of telling her such. Both women deny saying it, since it is untrue.
She has been saying it to other people since then as well. I also began to get emails from the wife of the president. Essentially this was just an after-effect of all that had happened. But where do I go from here? No apologies were made..its very disruptive to both myself and my workplace. There was nothing done by HR with the exception of calling this co-worker in and asking for an explanation.
Any suggestions as to where to go and what to do from here?
