I use to work with a couple of people for a long time. We were good friends on the job. One of these employees Who I am friends with did something very wrong on the job. I had to report them because everyone would have gotten in trouble. This person was eventually fired. Everyone knew I had no choice. Now I am getting a lot of harassing email and they just don't stop. Some of them are incredibly nasty and personal and I wanted to know what I can do to stop them from coming. Sometimes I get more than 100 of them a day. I am pretty sure it is this guy sending all the email. Thanks for any help.

Yes, your simplest option is to use a new email address that the offender does not know.
If there is anything in the emails that is personally threatening you might want to contact law enforcement, but since you don't know for certain who is sending the mail and it could simply be junk mail, that may not go far.
There are a lot of controls in place to limit the mail that actually reaches your inbox.
