Hi!
I am a German citizen with a greencard living in the US. My husband and I have 2 children. We want to seperate and I would like to return to my homecountry with the children. Of course, I hope we will be able to come to a resolution amicably, but to be better informed I would like to know what my rights and limitations are. Our children are both American and German citizens, my husband is American and I am German. Do I have any legal grounds to move to Germany with my children? Would I be in a better position if I were an American citizen?
I truly appreciate any advice! Thanks in advance!

If this case is decided by a US court, your kids won't be leaving the confines of the (US) legally, any time soon! You on the other hand are free to go anywhere you wish, whenever you wish. The USA is the land of freedom, don't you know?
