Fired me,accussed me,no check

I Was Working For A Company In Las Vegas And Was Only There About 80 Days And They Fired Me. I Turned In My Keys And Left. They Said I Would Have A Paycheck In 72 Hrs. When The 72 Hrs Mark Came They Said They Were Holding My Check Because They Believed Money Was Missing. It Has Now Been An Additional 4 Days And They Said They Were Going To Type Up A Release Of Liability And I Could Sign It And They Would Not Press Charges, But They Do Everything Manually And There Were Already Shady Things Going On In The Office, Money Was Never Locked Up Just In A Drawer, Other Employees That Were Terminated While I Was There Who Had Keys, They Never Changed The Locks Or The Alarm Code. Now They Are Say Things To Damage My Character What Should I Do?:
