On 02/09/2011, I went to court pro per against my sons, fathers which is being represented by an attorney on a Order to Show Cause custody case.
After the Judge made his ruling, he asked the Petitioners counsel to prepare the Order.
I just recieved the Order in the mail yesterday. The letter is dated 03/21/2011, and it states I have 10 days from the date of the letter to review and sign document and return it for filing with the court. Otherwise I can do an objection, either way It seems I have 2 days to get this in the mail.
Here is my question(s)
1. Is there a particular length of time in Ca after a hearing that this form is suppose to be submitted and served to the other party?
2. Can I fight/object to the fact that I was not given the correct time of the 10 days to respond?
3. When signing, am I signing that everything is true and correct to what was discussed in court and ordered by the Judge - regardless if I do or do not agree on the Judges ruling or want to go back to court?
Please if anyone knows, reply. I would really apprecaite it.
Thanks!
