my father was proven not guilty by the court, we got all our stuff back they have taken they said that they cannot find our guns we had. is there anything i can do to get them back?

Yes, contact the chief of police and request a meeting to discuss the missing items. You might also wish to speak with one or more if your local elected officials and discuss your problem with them. Your dad should also discuss this with his lawyer for other suggestions. You might eventually be forced to file a claim for the value of the lost items against the city.

If the guns happen to be stolen, or used in other crimes, you'll likely see those cops again.
