False reviews or comments posted on forums

If someone has posted false and fake reviews and comments on various forums and blog sites on the internet about my products, is there something I can do to get them removed and prohibit them from doing it in the future?

If it is their opinion, I doubt it.

Some reviews praise you, others tear you down.
