My employer sent me to an ime last year when I was out on medical leave and the doctor that saw me agreed with my doctor that I was unable to return to work and would re evaluate me in 5 months however I returned to work sooner. I work in the dept that reviews disability claims for the company employees and my mgmt has direct access to my medical files. I am now out again and they are sending me again on an ime with a different doctor. I requested to see the same doctor they sent me to last year as my disability is psychological and I don't want to keep talking to different people about my personal life. My employer told me that they can not use the same ime doctor they previously used. Is this true? Or are they sending me to a different doctor because the first one ruled in my favor? I also do not feel comfortable speaking to the ime doctors as everything that is said is reported back to my employer and I happen to work in the dept that is sending me on the ime therefore my direct manager and coworkers all have access to view the report this is clearly a conflict of interest

Have you discussed your concerns with YIUR HR representative or benefits specialist or appropriate company official?

I'd start by contact HR, discussing your concerns, learning their position.
