My company is in AL and the duration of my contract is 4160 hours. I am working on a 13 weeks assignment 40 hours a week. Now, I just have like 215 hours ( that's about 5 weeks) left after I finish my current assignment. I do not intend to continue working in this company and get another 13 weeks since I owe them 5 weeks only. What is my right as an employee with this kind of situation. I am willing to pay off that 5 weeks but I do not have an idea on how much should I pay. I just want to know my options before I speak with my boss. Please help! Thanks..
