Employees Right To Privacy

Is it legal for my employer to divulge personal information about me to a potential creditor? Such as my address and social security number. If not do I have any recourse?

Appalling as it may appear to either you or me, at the present time no laws prohibit your employer from divulging any information about you except any medical information they may have about you.
