my mom had custody of my son i was unable to care for him financlely so she got custody thru the attorney general. i was ordered to pay her monthly and back support. i lived with her and hepled but still owed her money. well she got ill and my son came to live with me. she later passed away, but the att. gen still has orders for me to pay. my ? is what will happen now . will the money owed just be done away with or what will happen i am in charge of her estate so any money paid to it goes to me. i am now trying to get the att. gen's help getting him back into my custody but am scared there going to stick it to me over the money owed to my mom please help me out with some advise any would be useful

adding to my post i could use some advice or comments on this i am tied in with the att. gen and with my mother gone i dont know where to go from here because i dont have managing custody of him the ag is not being to helpful i have filled out papers for them 2 times now.when i 1st called them when he came to live wit me they said they couldnt help me till he had been with me for 6 months now its taken them 3 months to even get paperwork where can i go from here will getting a lawyer help me or is it up to the ag to move at their pace
