I was hired by a company in January and when I showed up for the 1st day of training I was let go because I was told that I could not perform the job in my wheelchair. I have a disability and must use a wheelchair. I was not given a chance to try the position. About 2 weeks ago I recieved an offer from this company to reinstate me back to my position. This was done after I had filed a discrimination case against this company with the EEOC. I am wondering if it would be a good idea for me to accept this reinstatement or not and if I do should I request back pay? I would greatly appreciate any advice you can give me. Thank you for your time. Kelly Socha

Kelly, I'm sorry, but we really can't give you specific legal advice or tell you what to do, especially not based on a one paragraph post. You really need to discuss all the ins and outs with a lawyer in your state who can get more information than you could (or should) provide on a message board.

Good luck to you.
