I was hired by a company in January and when I showed up for the 1st day of training I was let go because I was told that I could not perform the job in my wheelchair. I have a disability and must use a wheelchair. I was not given a chance to try the position. About 2 weeks ago I recieved an offer from this company to reinstate me back to my position. This was done after I had filed a discrimination case against this company with the EEOC. I am wondering if it would be a good idea for me to accept this reinstatement or not and if I do should I request back pay? I would greatly appreciate any advice you can give me. Thank you for your time. Kelly Socha
