I am a Canadian that married an American 8 years ago in Virginia. I had lived off and on with her at her home in WV over the years but never immigrated to the USA. I am back in Canada now and she wants to divorce. She is selling her home shortly (also her business). I have agreed to a no fault divorce based on irreconcilable differences but she still has not started the process. Can she come after me for support if she sells her business and I am working? Is alimony enforceable across the border? I do not want to tqangle horns with her because her family is Law oriented...lawyers ect...
