HI, on October 12'th of last year I got married to a man in the military, then November 6'th he went to Iraq. We got married in Killeen texas.
4 months later, he stopped talking to me, and told his mom he wanted a divorce. He's never actually told me that, but he just stopped calling, stopped sending me emails, and everything. and like 2 months ago he came home on leave, didn't tell me about it, cheated on me with multiple people, and now he has a new girlfriend.
While he was home, California, where he lives, he bought a new 2006 mercedes from a dealership. It's now just sitting at his mom's house in california.
So what i'm wondering is; I live in Oregon; Legally, could i go down to california and take the car since we're married?? And would i be able to go to the cops, or find out where he bought the car and go to the dealership and get a key for it??
Any help would be amazing.
