I have been trying to dissolve my marriage for some time now I reside in Florida. I have a lawyer that has stopped working for me, he doesnt return my calls. My husband is in prison the county has record that he was served the petition of dissolution in March 08, however no one has the "proof of service".
Since then I have had two case management herrings and the judge says I cannot go any further without this paper. My husband has not responded to any papers sent to him. My original attorney has motioned for a default. Is this something I could finish up for myself, or do I need to start over? the economy is tough right now and I really do not have the income to hire another attorney. Thank You
