A friend of mine was recently served divorce papers and their child's birthdate was incorrect both date and year. Would this require her husband to file an amendment and she be served again?
In addition Wisconsin Law states that One of the spouses must a be a resident of the state of Wisconsin for at least 6 months and a resident of the county in which they file for at least 30 days immediately prior to filing for the divorce. Prior to the recent filing they had lived in Mississippi for 3 months. My question is can this be contested and the case brought to Mississippi?
