I am about to leave my husband and file for divorce. Are there any legal issues with leaving Oklahoma and relocating to Arkansas during the separation?
Can my husband file any charges about taking the child to a neighboring state?
The divorce is due to emotional abuse, physical threats, verbal abuse, and his threats to take the child and never let me see him again.
A healthy distance is required for me to feel safe with my children and far away from him.

Ok so he has threatened to take the child and you are doing the same thing? If you take the child out of state, his state has jurisdiction until the residency requirements are met in your new state which is 6 months in most states. He can file for divorce and ask for custody in the meantime. What you are doing it actually a good way to lose custody. He has the rights to see his kids. You should talk to an attorney before you leave.
