Can a defendant in a custody suit request a judge to order a psychiactric evaluation be done on the plantiff if the defendant can show reason to believe the plaintiff shows symptons of having a mental disorder that could cause harm to the minor children involved or may inhibit the plaintiff's ability to act appropriately when sharing parental responsibilities with the defendant?

You would have to show PROOF....But yes...If you can offer proof of this then a judge could issue an order.
