I have for the last 11 years worked for y current employer. Recently there was a whistleblowing incident against me for which I was exonerated. Part of the fallout of this incident is that my employer wants me to create my own position in the company - at a lower pay grade with less responsibility. However they have said that if I refuse they could terminate my contract and offer another one for the new role.
I have a written contract and my job title was changed to reflect my responsibility - however no contract change was instigated and no conditions talked about. Which applies? my written contact or my verbal one. Furthermore can my employer terminate my contract?
