The situation that I am currently in is that my boyfriend has two children from two previously different relationships. One child lives in Floridia the other in Georgia(1 child by each woman) The problem is that I really do not believe that either child is his. However, he has not taken a blood test for either child and yet is claiming both of them. He has also signed both childrens birth certificate. My question is once he takes the blood tests and it proves that neither child is his, will he still be required to pay child support although he is not the biological father, but willingly signed the birth certificates?

How old are these children? Also why are you asking this instead of him? Time and time again the nonparent is one asking and the actual parent sdoesnt even know whats going on. Its unlikely a Judge will cease support payments if he signed BC and the "real" Father is still unknown or if there as been some since birth. He (not you) should consult a Lawyer familar with "Family Law" in your area

Jacksgal is right. In Georgia at least if he acknowledges paternity, which he did by signing the birth certificate, he is the legal and biological Father. He only has 90 days to change his mind and challenge paternity. After that a Judge is very unlikely sever the relationship. You did not mention that he visits them or that he pays child support.

Like Jacksgal, I have to ask, why are you asking? Why do YOU believe this man isn't the father when he accepts both children and signed the birth certificate. If you want a man with clean "turf" for you to stake out as yours, pick one that doesn't have a string of kids by a string of women. If you marry him, you get his past too. Or worse, you may be Momma number three when g/f number four is posting here about your child.

Mind your own business this has nothing to do with you. If he is the legal father, then he is Dad. It seems to me you cannot accept the fact he has 2 kids with 2 women he pays support for. Accept them, or leave the relationship. You will be doing these children more harm than good by trying to take their Dad away.

how do you know these kids arent his? YOU were not there when these children were concieved. i agree with the others, butt out and myob, this is between the parents of the kids, and you are not one of them.
