i have been married for 11 years and have been with my husband for 16 yrs over all,, we have no children together but we do own a home which both names are on the title. He pays 1/2 the mortgage and I pay 1/2 the mortgage. We also pay 1/2 for the property taxes also.
I found out 1 month ago that he's been sleeping around, he told me because i found messages and calls on his cell phone. i have been keeping a log of when he gives me money ( when i need it ) and a log of when i find things that are suspicious to me, for example he keeps his phone on "lock mode" so i cant view the calls and he has a pre-paid phone so i can not get the call details.
Can i use this in court if need be? and being we have been married for 11 yrs am i entitled to 1/2 the house. it was assessed at 214k recently. i also drive a car the he paid for in cash with his money.. no joint funds in this marriage!
he also make twice what i do a yr.... he sold my car recently because he didnt want the "overhead" of paying on it. he was paying on it 189.00 a month because i couldnt afford the payments. anyway.. what am i entitled to
if he decides he wants "out". i have proof that he has been unfaithful to me which i have never been. does that makes a difference in court that he admitted to a affair?
