Child support

    Is it legal to base wages at 40 hours a week if your check is by weekly at $250. Every other week...

    Yes. It is legal to have income imputed, especially if one is underemployed (capable of making more, but not).

    agree, but the actual wage garnishment will be limited to a certain % of pay and the relationship to minimum wage. So while the garnishment may state $600, the employer can not take all $250. Any difference though will probably add on to arrears.

    "appearing or taking place every two weeks or twice a week: is the definition of biweekly and is the one most payroll people use for every other week

    I was always under the impression biweekly was twice a week and bimonthly was every other week (Or twice a month).
