I would like to get advice on my scenario. We live in CA.
My exbf and I have been living together since 2000. In 2003, I gave birth to our son. In 2004, through my work, I submitted a notarized form for domestic partnership so that I can include him in my benifits. In 2006, unknown to me, my bf started another relationship which resulted in this other girl becoming pregnant. Needless to say we separated when I found out. July 2007. I terminated our domestic partnership in August 2007.
Since we are not married, what are my chances in getting custody of our son?
