i need information about my 16 yr. old daughter. she got adopted when she was 7 yrs.old and now she is 16 and she wants to live with me. what is the age when she can leave her adopted mother? if/when she leaves can she take all of her personal belongings? her mom is trying to keep all of her belongings. can she do that? please let me know what i need to do. thank you

She is not your daughter. If you encourage her disobedience to her parent/s you could find yourself with a restraining order. Continue to interference and you may find yourself in jail.

I'm confused. Did you terminate your parental rights? If so the she has another father and you are no longer her legal dad. You have no rights at all to have her come live with you.
