I have been married to a great man for almost 9 years. He has a daughter 9 yrs old. She used to visit every other weekend and some holidays. Two years ago she went home to her mother and told her i was physically and emotionally abusing her. I have never and will never abuse any child!!! The case, 6 mo. ago, was determined in my favor. While all the drama between the courthouse and children youth services was going on, i was unable to practice my proffesion of CNA. My license has expired. Now, after there was no physical evidence of any abuse and the case was closed, her mother, again, is spreading stories about me abusing the child!!! I refuse to see her without her father present!! She has ruined my life and my working reputation. I want to know if i can sue for defamation of character.
