A buddy of mine is in a tough pickle. He and his GIRLFRIEND have been dating for about 5 years, they have a kid, and currently live in an apartment. They are now seperating and she wants to take his only means of transportation. He recently had the whole car rebuilt and spent about 5k on it. The catch is that he does not have the best credit in the world so the vehicle is in her name. Not entirely sure if his name is on there also, but i highly doubt it. Is there anything he can do?

If she's the sole owner, he's out of luck.

About all he can TRY to do is sue her in small claims court. That might be a tough sell, but, it's about all he can do.
