More than likely she can't.

But, that is usually a rule of the employer, not by operation of law.

Why not call her HR department and ask your question "ANONYMOUSLY"?????

That way, your decision to "repo" the car might be assisted by what can be done regarding the insurance.

If you are removed, you should receive a certificate of insurability.

It may have another name.

It acknowledges that you were insured for a certain period of time.

Without one, you may have a very hard time getting insurance.

If she is allowed to drop you (assuming that is what she does), you should be able to get onto your employer's plan due to a change in your life circumstances.

I suspect that IF you "repo" the car, she'll remove you from the insurance plan.
