My fiancee and i make enough money to live on , for rent, food and our bills, we cant afford to give a lawyer a $1500 retainer fee and still take care of everything else. We need a lawyer for the custody battle we're about to go into. And my ex is a welfare mom and doesn't have anything to offer the kids where as my fiancee and i have jobs and a steady income and can provide for them. Together we make about $1600 -$1700 a month. Is there anyone that you know of that can help us get the kids. We were told that we could get legal aid through the county that we live but when i called the county that we live they acted like they dont know what we talking about. Basically we just need a lawyer with a heart (hahahaha).
