Me and partner split he has moved in mith another lady which has had a couple suicide attempts in front of her oldest child and she also has problems with alcohol and has known to become violent towards my ex although this has not been reported. I have full custody but my ex does see his son when he can but i am concerened that my son will become subject to seeing the above things that his new girlfriend has done.

is there an actual visitation order from the courts? If so you must abide by it. If there is no order, then no.

Wait ... you originally wrote,

I have full custody but my ex does see his son when he can
Then you wrote,

no there is no visitation orders
So ... if you have "full custody" apparently a court granted some kind of custody orders. If no such order from a court exists, then you do NOT have "full custody".

If there IS an order for custody, does it exclude him from visitation or is he even mentioned?

If no order at all exists, you may want to start that process because if he chooses to start the process first, you may find the cops knocking on your door to enforce HIS custody or visitation order. And, in some states (such as CA) if you intentionally withhold visitation from a parent who has a right to visit with the child, you may be charged with a crime.

If you are truly concerned for your child's safety (and not just trying to screw with him), then seek the legal custody papers you need.
