can i move out at 17

So im going to be 17 very soon and i want to move out of my dads into my moms ive been wanting to move out since i was like 12 ive been waiting for the day i turned 17 but now im worried that if my dad calls the cops and im living at my moms they will make me come back. i dont want to leave if they will bring me back bc then my dad will be so mad and my life would be worse.

If your parents give you permission to move out, you can. If your parents do not give you permission to move out, you cannot.

When you are 18 (not 17, but 18) you can go wherever you like. At 17 you are still under the care, custody and control of your parents.

Its apparent your Father won custody. In order for that to change a new order needs to be made. Tell your Mom to file for custody
