backround check wrong

my backround check came back for a job and they asked for felonys in the past seven years the agency doing the check came up with a 3rd degree theft mistermeanor charge that shows a warrant from five years ago i did not do this or know it was on my record is there any thing i can do about that it is in another state and i do not have the means to travel up there to take care of it right now.

No, you really cannot do anything unless you hire a lawyer. Onbiously you knew about the charge. Did you not show up for a court date? were charges dropped?
