I filed for child support over a year ago and I still have not recived my first court date! Everyone else that has gone threw this says that it should not be taking this long! I have contacted them several times and they just keep telling be to wait. I feel helpless and it's not fare that I see all of these other women get there day in court before me when I filed before them. I don't know how much longer I can take this. HELP!! What should I do?

What state are you in?

Has paternity been established?

CSE's are totally overloaded with cases. You might want to see if an attorney can help you move this along, otherwise you are at the mercy of CSE. If paternity has not been established, or the father is not working, it will take longer.
