I am disabled and working... I didn't tell my employer I am disabled until after I was hired... I would like to know if my employer is still subject to the ADA in my case even though I didn't tell I am disabled right off. I'm not having any problems with my employer, I'd just like to know what my rights are. - Reese.

Whether any employee is covered under the ADA has nothing whatsoever to do with whether you did or did not tell the employer about it before hire. It has everything to do with whether your disability affects a major life function and whether there is a reasonable accomodation that will allow you to perform the essential functions of your position.

If no accomodation is needed, as your post suggests, then the ADA does not apply.
