How do you figure out the amount of support that is required by the state of NY? I use the gross on my W2, multiply by 17%(i have 1 child) minus the FICA and then divide by 52 to get my weekly amount. Is this correct or should i also minus my 401k also? Just wondering because when my taxes have been processed for the last few years, i also minus my 401k, when figuring my gross.
