Am I entitled to my commission?

My company is saying that because I am not going to be physically employed on June 1 which is when our commission from last quarter is being paid out that I forfeit it (even though I will receive my last paycheck on this day). My boss emailed me saying it is in writing but nothing I signed dictates this and I can't locate the document that has it. My feeling is I earned this $ from work I did while I was there and it is not my fault that they are 2 months behind in paying it out. I am not sure if I have a leg to stand on if he is saying that this policy is in writing. Do I have a case

Funny one this, in my opinion if you have done the work you must be paid up to the date you leave; but we do not know wht you signed? and you can't locate the document that has it.

Try and do a bit more reserch as to what you signed.
