hi, im 16 and im a female, i tell you this cause i am moving with my mom after going to school and living in basically the same area for most of my life since i practally started going to school, my mom just recently started to date this new guy and i dont like him, ever since my mom started dating him she has been acting differently, like what he says means more to her then what i say, im not really sure if she is more concerned about my best interest then her boyfriends, i have a friend that said i could stay with his family so i can go to school with all the people i have known for so long, everyone over there is fine with it but my mom does not care, they are willing to support me and get what i need for school and i am trying to look for a part time job for the summer but it doesnt seem to matter to my mom, i was wondering if there is anything i can do about this, i have tried to talk to her but she wont listen to anything i have to say, i need to know what to do, im afraid to live with my mom cause when her boyfriend come to visit he scares me, i just feel really weird around him, he gives off this creepy rapist vibe, what am i able to do

Where is your father in all of this?

If he is not in the picture, you continue to live with your mother since it appears she does not agree with what you desire. It appears that at this point, you are looking for any reason to go live with your friends. What does a "creepy rapist vibe" look like?

my dad has been dead since i was about 2 i never got to know him, well, he kinda has long hair and he is constantly rude to me, he seems to think vilence will solve everything, if he doesnt like the way someone looks he says thats a reason to beat their ass, he has never laid a hand on my sisters and me or my mom, but he is just weird, i get this feeling he is undressing me with his eyes sometimes, so there is nothing i can do?

Where are you located? because I was also in a similar situation when I was a teenage and unlike some "adults" may think I was not just trying to go live with my friends. There are certain organizations in the community that can help out. One that I had success with was Boys and Girls Aid Society. You may also want to talk to a counseler at school. They may be able to give you more resources. Good Luck to you!!
