I was ill and my daughter took me to the clinic. She hit a postal truck. I had liability. She was not on the insurance. Both her and her sister were injured. The post office keeps sending me bills that are accruing interest. Please help. I don't know what to do. The insurance company dropped my insurance policy because I didn't disclose her on the policy. She didn't live with me. She lived in Monmouth IL. No ticket was issued.

I'm not sure what to tell you - there's no defense you can use to make the debt go away. Is your daughter willing to pay for what was essentially her fault?

They generally offer the first visit free of cost or obligation.

You could also seek help by writing to your two US senators and your local US congressperson.
