I have a gentlemen calling by the name of investigator breeden he stated that the company discount advances is filing a criminal case against me for an outstanding balance. He stated that the state of Kansas does not do civil cases all they handle are criminal cases. He stated that a warrant is going out for my arrest today and that I can be arrested at my home from friday -sunday. He said that my court hearing was today at 2pm. He stated that I will get expidited back to Kansas seeing that I live in Illinois now. He stated that he hope I am taking this seriously because I am going to really get arrested. He stated that I have rights and those are to 1.pay the full balance which will cancel the warrant from going out, 2. voluntarily allow myself to get arrested and then pay the cash balance as my bail money or 3. voluntarily allow myself to get arrested and dont pay anything and plead my case to the judge. Is this legal?

He may be bluffing ... or, maybe KS has somehow made it a crime to do whatever you did. Out here, failure to pay back advances is a civil matter and they would have to sue you in civil court. But, if they can show fraud or forgery in your actions, that can be criminal.
Perhaps you can ask him for the name of the law enforcement agency handling the matter and advise you will only speak to them.
In the meantime, perhaps it would be best to settle this debt.

He should call himself inspector ijutt or defective doofuss.
No government is gonna expend it's law enforcement resources to collect a debt for a private enterprise.
On Monday, after you haven't been arrested, let us know, please.
In the meantime, I'd file a complaint with my local police agency for harassment and impersonation of a police officer or law enforcement official.
The clown that threatened you is a bottom feeding debt collector and a very dumb one.
Don't pay him a dime.
The next time he calls, tell him you've reported him to the FBI, Secret Service, DEA, US Marshals, ATF, and the Canine County Dog Catcher.
Cops don't offer you a chance to pay your bail in advance or tip their hand before they serve a warrant.

This is a scam. I have dealt with it before in legal forums. This person is just making this up to scare you. There is no arrest warrant. He is scum. Ignore him.
